In the Rotessa application, when we say “owner” or “ownership” we are referring to the people in charge of the business. If the business or organization you are signing up for Rotessa doesn't have owners or is led by a board of directors, for the Owner Information step of the Rotessa application, we would be looking for the directors or board members of the business or organization.
If you are not on the board of the business or organization, select that you do NOT own 25% or more of the business
Again, the application states “owners” here but we are looking for the directors or board members. In this step, list 4 board members where 1 is the President or Treasurer of the board of the business or organization, 1 is the treasurer member and 2 additional board members. For share percentage, you can put 25% for each of them.
Once you have listed the 4 board members, we will ask for additional information for each of them that includes:
- Position at the business or organization, which can be set to Director
- Date of Birth
- Personal Street Address
- Town or City of residence
- Province/State of residence
- Postal/Zip Code
When it asks who is the primary beneficial owner, select the President/Treasurer. They will be the ones to complete the ID verification step.
