Re-sending email authorization
Rotessa’s email authorization request collects both the customer’s signed authorization and their banking information. It can also be used to gather updated banking details when needed.
If you’d like a customer to update their own banking information in Rotessa, or would like to collect a new and updated authorization from the customer, you can simply resend the customer an email authorization request.
Before you can resend an email authorization request to your customer, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the customer on the customer's page and remove any scheduled transactions on the customer by selecting the three dots next to their scheduled transaction(s) and selecting Remove. Our support documentation on how to edit or delete a transaction schedule goes over how to remove transaction schedules in Rotessa
2. Edit the customer’s bank and authorization details and change their Authorization Type to blank.
You can now resend the email authorization request to your customer. This can be done directly from the individual customer’s profile.
